Community Guidelines & Conduct
Siscaller is a technical publication and community for software engineers, security researchers, and systems architects. We prioritize intellectual honesty, rigorous peer analysis, and respectful collaboration.
1. High-Signal Technical Discourse
When engaging in discussion threads, technical comments, or Q&A sessions:
- Back claims with evidence: Reference public benchmarks, RFCs, source code links, or reproducible test scenarios whenever disputing architectural claims.
- Attack the code, not the engineer: Critique implementations, trade-offs, and algorithmic efficiency objectively. Ad hominem attacks, condescension, and derogatory remarks are grounds for immediate suspension.
- Acknowledge trade-offs: In engineering, few decisions are purely binary. Respect different architectural constraints (latency, throughput, cost, team velocity).
2. Zero-Tolerance Violations
The following behaviors will result in permanent account termination:
- Harassment, stalking, doxxing, or publishing private personal information of any contributor or reader.
- Hate speech, discrimination, or abusive conduct targeting any identity, race, gender, nationality, or background.
- Spam, crypto scams, automated promotional bots, or unapproved commercial self-promotion.
- Posting active exploit payloads or malware designed to harm or compromise reader systems without responsible disclosure context.
3. Moderation & Enforcement
Community contributions are moderated by Siscaller editors using both automated heuristics (anti-spam, link-depth limits) and human review.
If you witness a violation of these guidelines, please use the “Report” button on any comment or contact our moderation team directly.
